How does your online auctions work?
In order to participate in an auction, an individual/business will be required to complete the online registration.
A R3000 registration fee is required to participate in an auction and will enable you to buy one vehicle on the online auction.
- You can test drive any auction vehicle.
- You may bring your own mechanic to assess the vehicle.
- Auction cars can be funded using finance.
- All vehicles have a used vehicle condition report.
- All bidding prices include VAT.

Can I finance a car on auction?
Yes, finance is available on selected auction vehicles. We arrange the roadworthy and registration for all financed vehicles.
We recommend that an affordability check is done by completing a quick finance application before starting the auction. After you win an auction you will be asked to complete an official finance application on your new vehicle.

What is the process of collecting a vehicle after auction?
We will contact you to arrange delivery.
If the vehicle needs to be transported to a preferred location, transportation costs will be added to your invoice.
Please provide the following documentation:
- Your ID
- Proof of address (not older than 3 months)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Proof of banking details
*Only original documents or certified copies are accepted.
The balance of your invoice will need to be settled.
Your vehicle can be collected at Weelee Centurion or at a location of your choice with additional transportation costs.
Is the auction registration fee refundable?
Yes, your auction registration deposit is refundable if no sale is concluded.
How can I refund an auction deposit?
If no sale is concluded during the auction, you can refund your auction deposit by logging in to your account on the Weelee website.
Simply click the Refund button and wait for the funds to be reflected in your account from the respective service provider, WalletDoc.

Please note that once you’ve successfully purchased a vehicle on auction, the registration deposit becomes non-refundable. You will forfeit your registration deposit if you don’t settle the full purchase price of the vehicle within 48 hours after the auction ends.
Is WalletDoc safe to use?
Yes, WalletDoc is a payment portal used by a number of large retail companies.

Does Weelee charge any additional fees?
Yes, depending on the type of transaction and the nature of the additional services provided by Weelee, additional fees and charges may apply.
